पाठ्यक्रमको रुपरेखा:- संयुक्त र एकीकृत
परीक्षा प्रणाली (Integrated &
Unified Examination System) को आधारमा सबैको लागि निम्नानुसारको हुनेछ।
लिखित परीक्षा (Written Examination):
(क) प्रथम चरण (Stage - I) पूर्णाङ्क: 100
(ख) द्वितीय चरण (Stage II) (परराष्ट्र सेवा बाहेकको लागि) पूर्णाङ्क: 300
(ग) द्वितीय चरण (Stage II) (परराष्ट्र सेवा लागि) पूर्णाङ्क: 400
(क) प्रथम चरण (Stage - I): प्रारम्भिक परीक्षा (Preliminary Examination) पूर्णाङ्क: १००

Verbal reasoning such as series, analogy, classification, coding-decoding, insert the missing character, common property, matrices, direction and distance sense test, ranking order, assertion and reason, induction, deduction, courses of action, etc.
Marks from Verbal Reasoning = 6 × 1 = 6
Non-verbal reasoning such as series, analogy, classification, Venn diagrams, matrices, construction of squares and triangles, and figure formation and analysis, dot situation, water images, mirror images, embedded figures, etc.
Marks form Non-Verbal Reasoning Test = 6 × 1 = 6
Quantitative aptitude such as arithmetical reasoning / operation, percentage, fraction, decimal. ratio, average, loss, profit, date/calendar, time and work, etc.
Marks from Quantitative Aptitude test = 6 × 1 = 6
General mental ability, logical reasoning and analytical ability.
Marks from General Mental Ability Test = 6 × 1 = 6 Marks
Data interpretation - charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency.
Marks from Data Interpretation = 6 × 1 = 6
